Our Story
I didn’t set out to build another consultancy. I built this because something was missing.
After 20 years leading IT, Data and Product in regulated, high-pressure environments, I kept running into the same wall:
- Good people under pressure.
- Bold strategies falling flat.
- Technology that sounded great- but never truly landed.
And when it mattered most... The human element got left behind.
So, I created THE HUMAN CTO, not as an agency, and not just as me going solo, but as a commitment to do this work better. Calmer. Sharper. More honest. More human.
I speak a lot about the Human element of tech, this is because when transformation or change gets hard and the human element is left behind- delivery slows, trust erodes, and the best ideas loose momentum.
In every success I’ve seen, it was the human element that made it work. Tech doesn't land tech, regardless of the hype, humans land tech.
